Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using KianBot ("the Service"), operated by KB Software LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KianBot is an AI-powered software factory that generates code projects from text prompts. The Service uses the Anthropic API with your own API key to generate code, tests, and perform self-healing code review.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

• KianBot costs $15 per month for up to 50 builds.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time via the billing page.
• Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused builds.

5. API Key and Costs

• You must provide your own Anthropic API key to use the build feature.
• API costs (typically $0.50–$2.00 per build) are billed directly by Anthropic to your account.
• KB Software LLC is not responsible for Anthropic API charges incurred through the Service.
• Your API key is encrypted and stored securely. We decrypt it only to execute your builds.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate malicious code, malware, or code designed to harm others.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, build limits, or other security measures.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code of the Service.
• Automate access to the Service beyond normal use (scraping, botting).
• Use another person's API key without their authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

• Your code: You own all code generated by KianBot for your projects. We claim no ownership over your build outputs.
• Our service: The KianBot service, website, and branding are the intellectual property of KB Software LLC.
• Generated code is provided as-is. You are responsible for reviewing and testing code before production use.

8. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that generated code will be bug-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.
• You are responsible for reviewing all generated code before deploying it.
• We are not liable for damages arising from the use of generated code in production.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KB Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your build data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
